To measures and assesses the land (boundaries, elevation, soil conditions).
May also act as a quantity surveyor, estimating costs and managing budgets.
Structural Engineer
To ensure the home is safe and stable.
Designs the foundations, beams, and supports.
Developer / Builder
To manage the construction process.
Hires and coordinates trades (electricians, plumbers, roofers, etc.).
Ensures the project stays on time and within budget.
Mortgage Advisor / Broker
To help secure financing for the project
Advises on mortgage types, interest rates, and affordability.
Guides you through the financial paperwork and lender requirements.
Interior Designer (optional but valuable) to provide
To plan the interior layout, finishes, and furnishings.
Helps achieve your desired look and function.
Ecologist or Sustainability Consultant (for eco-homes)
To advise on energy-efficient materials and renewable systems.
Helps achieve green building certifications or low-carbon standards
